01 ABOUT LONGI

Since 2015, LONGi Green Energy Technology Co., Ltd. has emerged as a global leader in monocrystalline silicon product manufacturing. In 2016, the company expanded its operations by establishing a new overseas production facility in Malaysia. By the end of 2020, LONGi achieved an impressive monocrystalline wafer production capacity of 85 GW. It intends to sustain this remarkable growth trajectory and further expand its capacity to ensure a sufficient supply of monocrystalline products and foster its globalized production capabilities.

Leveraging its robust technological innovation capabilities, LONGi focuses on two core areas: manufacturing of photovoltaic products and offering comprehensive photovoltaic technology solutions. Its diverse portfolio includes monocrystalline silicon wafers, monocrystalline solar modules, distributed and ground-mounted solar power system solutions. 02 CHALLENGES

As LONGi Green Energy Technology Co., Ltd. experiences rapid employee growth, the company faces several challenges due to the increasing number of business systems during its development. The challenges include:

· Complex user types and multiple data sources: The enterprise currently has diverse user types (internal users, external contractors, shared accounts, external consultants, suppliers, etc.) with their account information managed in different systems. This lack of unified data sources makes it challenging to effectively manage accounts across various systems.

·Complex account approval processes: Systems such as ERP and CRM require initiation through the OA system, followed by manual approval and account activation by administrators. There is a lack of efficient methods to manage the entire lifecycle of employee onboarding, transfers, and departures.

03 SOLUTIONS

The Paraview Identity Management Platform offers users unified login, authentication, authorization, and auditing functionalities. It consolidates all of LONGi Green Energy Technology's numerous business systems, such as AD, Oracle HR, SRM, Coremail, CRM, CMS, and OA, into a single platform. Additionally, it integrates with the enterprise's OA processes to automate user account provisioning and deactivation, significantly reducing the operational burden on IT personnel.

The specific details of the construction are as follows:

Unified data source: The Paraview Identity Management Platform serves as the foundation, with HR as the primary data source. All identity information for the systems is entered in HR and then pushed to the Paraview IAM. Based on this information, the IAM automatically initiates workflows in the OA system, enabling the automatic provisioning or deactivation of user accounts. This effectively reduces the workload on IT operations and maintenance personnel.

Enhanced security authentication level: As the financial systems of LONGi Green Energy Technology require robust security measures, all individuals accessing the systems undergo secondary authentication. For this implementation, the Paraview Identity Management Platform utilizes Baidu facial recognition and dynamic SMS verification for authentication. Other systems integrate with the MFA engine to maintain account password authentication in risk-free circumstances.

Transition from manual to automated processes: The Paraview Identity Management Platform seamlessly integrates with existing workflows, enabling a gradual shift from manual management to automation at LONGi Green Energy Technology. This transition leads to more accurate data and permission management, significantly reducing labor costs and enhancing overall enterprise efficiency.

04 KEY BENEFITS

By implementing the Paraview Identity Authentication System, LONGi Green Energy Technology can achieve the concept of "ONE ID" where users only need a single account to access all systems. The system is integrated with a multi-factor authentication (MFA) engine, providing dynamic authentication enhancements to prevent misuse of user accounts. This implementation enables user-oriented access audits, application system audits, and account operation management audits, thereby elevating the security level of LONGi's information technology infrastructure and improving user productivity.
