 Wanhua Chemical Group, a global chemical industry giant, controls one-third of the world's production capacity. It is the largest manufacturer of MDI globally and the only chemical company in China with independent intellectual property rights in MDI, HDI, HMDI, and IPDI manufacturing technologies.

The group operates six production bases and factories in Yantai, Ningbo, Sichuan, Fujian, Zhuhai, and Hungary. It has five major research and development centers located in Yantai, Ningbo, Beijing, North America, and Europe. Additionally, Wanhua Chemical Group has established subsidiaries and offices in over ten countries and regions, including Europe, the United States, and Japan.

As Wanhua Group continues its digital transformation, the number of systems is constantly increasing, business scenarios are evolving, and the workforce is growing. The existing identity management and authentication system based on the IBM framework cannot efficiently and rapidly adapt to the new business requirements. Additionally, it fails to meet the functionality needs arising from new scenarios and regulations.

There is an urgent need for the establishment of a new, comprehensive, trusted, and secure identity management and authentication system that integrates users, organizations, roles, permissions, authentication, auditing, and risk management. This system will effectively support the secure development of digitalization within the group.
