Social engineering attacks are on the rise: how to mitigate the risks?

In recent months, several large enterprises have been targeted by social engineering attacks, resulting in unauthorized access to data within their internal or third-party  systems. 

Unlike purely technical cybersecurity attacks, social engineering attacks focus on manipulating human trust. Attackers often pose as HR or IT personnel, contacting employees through text or phone calls and tricking them into revealing login credentials or other personal information.
